Grant Pierce OAM
Grant is a qualified mining engineer with 30 years of operating experience in both Australia and Africa. He has managed both open-pit and underground mines across a range of mineral commodities. In addition, he has held numerous senior development roles, taking green and brown field projects to either shovel ready status or into production.

Allan graduated from the University of Technology in Sydney in 1986 with a Bachelor of Business and subsequently attained a post graduate Diploma in Applied Finance from the Financial Services Institute of Australia. Allan’s distinguished career spans 30 years in both the energy and resources sectors, in investment banking and leadership roles in both private and publicly listed companies.
David is an experienced director in the capacity of both Executive and Non-Executive roles of ASX listed companies. His career has spanned multiple continents. Within Africa Namibia, Tanzania, Eritrea, South Africa, DRC and Mozambique are notable. He has overseen exploration and resource development, scoping and feasibility studies, production optimisation, stakeholder engagement, acquisition programs and expansion initiatives.
John is a qualified geologist with over 40 years’ experience in exploration and mining in Australia. John is regarded as a nickel sulphide specialist, having held various senior exploration and development roles on several major nickel sulphide projects in Western Australia.
Rod has 40 years of experience in the Minerals industry across Africa, Australia and South America, both in executive management roles and metallurgical project development roles from exploration to production.
Geoff Brayshaw AM
Chief Financial Officer
Geoff Brayshaw practiced as a Chartered Accountant for 35 years. His area of expertise was primarily in audit and assurance including corporate finance. At the time of his semi retirement from practice in 2005, Geoff was an Audit and Assurance partner for and former managing partner of the Perth based practice of BDO.
In-House Counsel and Company Secretary
Julian is Adavale’s in-house counsel and Company Secretary. He spearheads Adavale’s corporate advisory function to support the Board and new management’s capital raising and Nickel initiatives. Mr Rockett brings a wealth of experience of equity raising, M&A and other corporate transactions specialising in the small-cap ASX listed space.
